East Van Roasters Ready for Easter and a New Business Model

East Van Roasters is moving to a Community Contribution Company (CCC) business model

East Van Roasters is a Buy Social Canada certified social enterprise. For eight years has operated a café offering hand-made specialties while employing marginalized women, is transferring from founders PHS Community Services Society to a newly formed Community Contribution Company (CCC) under the guidance of Brad Mills and Ian Tostenson.

Shelley Bolton, Executive Director, product designer and creator says, “As a social enterprise East Van Roasters is all about blending the sales of our fair-trade organic coffee roasting and award-winning chocolates with providing supportive employment programs.”
