A request to access personal information must be made in writing and provide sufficient detail to identify the personal information being sought. Upon request, we will also tell users how we use their personal information and to whom it has been disclosed if applicable. We will make the requested information available within 30 business days,, or provide written notice of an extension where additional time is required to fulfil the request. If a request is refused in full or in part, we will notify the user in writing, providing the reasons for refusal and the recourse available to the user.

    Buy Social Canada may revise or amend this policy at any time at our sole discretion. If we make any substantive changes in the way we collect or use personally identifying information provided by users, we will post a prominent announcement on our web site home page and post the changes on this page. We will never change our policies and practices to make them less protective of user information collected prior to the effective date of any changes without the consent of affected users.     Questions and Complaints

    The CEO is responsible for ensuring Buy Social Canada’s compliance with this policy.
    Users should direct any complaints, concerns or questions regarding Buy Social Canada’s compliance in writing to the CEO. If the CEO is unable to resolve the concerns, the user may also write to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of British Columbia.
